On 8th July, Tivoli Lisboa hosted a " timeless Glamour ” Cocktail party to celebrate the inauguration of “all the areas which have recently been renovated and refurbished". The sophisticated and elegant designs give a cosmopolitan, urban feel, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The emblematic lobby of the Tivoli Lisboa, now including the Tivoli Caffé, remains a meeting point for locals and guests alike.
The conference area, centred around the Mezzanine, now includes modern multi-function rooms, fully equipped with the most up to date technology, such as, video conferencing systems and plasma screens. The rooms have been completely refurbished and improved and are named after well-known figures or places which are significant to Tivoli history, such as Beatriz Costa, the architect Pardal Monteiro and the Mayer park.
The 6th, 7th and 8th floors were totally remodelled to become “collection” floors with luxury rooms and suites designed to the specific needs of guests. all rooms are equipped with LCD televisions, LCD screens in bathrooms, wireless internet access, individual reading lights, I-Home (I-pod connection) and Nespresso machines. On the 7th floor, there is now one of the largest Presidential Suites in the city, covering an area of 250 square metres with a stunning panoramic view out over the historic city of Lisbon.
The Terraço restaurant, which also has a stunning view of the city, is a continuation of the new design concept which can be seen in every part of the hotel. The menu was created for guests and local diners by Luís Baena and includes: the best breakfast, a daily lunchtime buffet or the dinner menu. The restaurant wine list is the responsibility of the renowned wine expert Aníbal Coutinho.
An Elements Spa for the Asian luxury spa chain, Banyan Tree, is due to open at the beginning of next year.
